Deagan's lived up to it's reputation as a warm, comfortable eatery, with a wide variety of creative (but not weird) menu choices, and service that was very efficient and friendly, without being unnecessarily intrusive. On a Friday evening, they were very busy, but our food arrived sooner that might have been expected. We both chose the Sea Bass special, which was cooked to perfection: a nice crunchy outside , and moist tender inside. The black rice and faro pilaf was scrumptious, and all was sauced with a mandarin orange reduction, which complimented the flavors of both the bass and the pilaf extremely well. To top it all off, where else can you get a glass of bubbly for $6? This is definitely on out "return" list.
