Attended the Boney James/Brian Culberston smooth Jazz concert. We hadn't been to the Fraze Pavilion in about 5 years. I must say we had the best time. From the time we walked through the ticket gate everything was fantastic. The people who took our tickets were very friendly. We had seats down front and we taken right to our seats. The waiting time for food and drinks was pretty good considering how many people were at the concert. I don't think theres a bad seat in the pavilion. Parking was not a problem and after the concert we easily got to our car and left traffic free.

Parking overflows to residential streets around the Fraze. Blocks away is a high crime area according to police. Kettering spends money to blow autumn leaves from the streets so rockers don't see anything out of place as their tour busses roll into the Fraze.

Since the Fraze is outdoors it's seasonal and limited to fair weather. Many look forward to the modern indoor pavilion presently under construction in Huber Heights. It will be professionally managed by the same folks who manage large venues in Cincy and other larger cities. Huber Heights is gearing up to be the premier entertainment showplace in the Miami Valley.

Meanwhile, Kettering is on a tare to kill all the feral kittens in the general are as thought the entertainers might see a blemish on Kettering's porcelain surface. "Cats are vermin" one "shelter" operator insists. City employees warn residents to starve kittens so they'll be lured into as many as seven baited death traps used to round up starving feline. It's hard to enjoy any show at the Fraze knowing the ugly truth about Kettering. City officials insist they won't change their trap and kill practice, adding, "cats aren't a problem." Then why seven death traps?

It's understandable the fastest growing industry in the area is hospitals; after all, the Fraze supplies enough nitrated bacon to residence to insure record profits for local hospitals. business is good at the Fraze.

Have reviewed the Fraze before but then again, have been here many more times since and The Fraze is very deserving of repeated praise. We're scheduled to see the Moody Blues at the end of this month but recently saw a Led Zeppelin tribute band and had a great time. Have also been to both of the Breakfast With The Beatles events so far this year and last weekend attended the Art Fair. Just love the variety of events that are put on at The Fraze!

went to see thwe Avett brothers August 2, 2014. Seating look to be 3,000. Not a big place. Parking was not a problem. In the middle of a residential neighborhood and we parked on the street. We stopped at the Tropics Bar / Restaurant and had no problem getting served or a seat an hour before the show. This place was directly across from the entrance to the venue. I would go there to see a show during the summer at any time.

My wife and I were very impressed with this venue. Such a nice setting with the park, pond, and fountains. Parking could have been a little more intuitive but parked on the street easily and got out easy. Highly recommend the Fraze to catch your favorite band!
