This place is so beautiful - beautiful landscape, beautiful pond...so peaceful. A great place to go for a stroll & or reflect. Butterfly house is beautiful when open - peak season is around August. The Tree Tower is great - a bit shaky at the top but something you should climb just for the fun of it.

While visiting friends in Dayton area, we went to see this magnificent park. Not sure how many acres this covers but one could walk most of the day & not see anything twice. Flower gardens, ponds, bridges, scenic paths.... unfortunately the butterflyhouse wasn't open yet, but the "tower treehouse" was awesome & what beautiful scenery! Great photo ops anywhere you looked or went....wish we had one of these close to where we live!

This is yet another gem in the Dayton area metro park system. Absolutely beautiful setting that was the setting for dozens of photographers, couples, families and children. We were actually there to take family pictures and had no problem finding great backdrops. The kids loved running around in the open areas and looking for ducks, fish and turtles in the ponds. We are definitely going to visit again once the butterfly house is open. Did I mention it is free?

Unfortunately the butterfly house was not yet open for the season. However, the tree house provided great views of area and we enjoyed walking the trails through the beautiful gardens.

Something for everyone. Great walking paths and nature areas. Check out the new tower with awesome views of the entire Dayton area. Has a great indoor area with the gift shop and conference rooms and halls including an information center. Good for meetings, weddings and other events. Bring a picnic as there are tables set up outside. Lots to see and do anytime of year.
