“Old but still neat”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2014

A 20 minute experience in a informational attraction built in the 70s and never updated. This is more of a "Let's go over to the Glacial Grooves while we're here" kind of place and not a destination, although if you're really into geology, they claim it is one of the world's best examples of glacial grooves. But for us lay folk, it's 30 feet of curvy rocks and some outdated signage.

“Groovin in Glacier State”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 7, 2014

Not handicap accessible, but lots of plaques that tell all about how the glaciers made the grooves in the rocks. I have never seen anything like this in my life. This is a must see...

An out-of-the-ordinary site that's interesting to both young and old. Helpful markers explain what you're viewing.

“Cool to see”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 2, 2014

This was worth seeing, it is supposed to be one of the best preserved glacier grooves in the world. Interesting fact is that they were covered in debris and they uncovered them in 1972. It doesn't take long to walk around the park and see the groves that the glaciers left behind.

“Glacial Grooves”

Loved reading how the grooves were formed and the views from the platforms. Very interesting! Even the kids were interested in seeing the formations from thousands of years ago.
