This is the second time my husband and I lodged at House on Huntington Lane. Our innkeeper Patty is super knowledgeable about all island events and she's friendly--she makes us feel more like friends than patrons. The B&B is tastefully decorated and the "common areas" are spacious enough for all guests to have a little privacy. Rooms are spotless. Fresh cookies and fruit are always available during the day, and plenty of room for our own favorite foods in the fridge & freezer. We love KI and love this B&B!

This was a first time visit to KI with my husband the weekend after Memorial Day. We were a little nervous about staying in a B&B and sharing close quarters with strangers. However, this turned out to be an excellent choice! The innkeeper, Patty, was extremely friendly and very helpful with tips about what we could do on the island. The place was spotless and very tastefully decorated. She was always available to help and answer questions. She was not ever hovering and in the way. When the other guests arrived, there was plenty of common space and privacy for everyone to move around freely and still share a friendly vacation space. Well worth the value!

My fianee and I stayed at the House on Huntington Lane for Memorial day weekend, and we had the most relaxing time.

The historic home is immaculate, all the way down to the beautifully decorated rooms. I could immediately tell that the owner puts immense amount of time into it's upkeep and care.

The backyard and the beautiful sun room make for pleasantly quiet places to relax and read a book, or take an afternoon snooze after walking the island.

Patty, the owner, is so lovely and helpful - when we were leaving after our four day stay, I felt like I was saying goodbye to an old friend that I knew I would see again soon.

I can't think of a better place to stay than the House on Huntington Lane while spending a relaxing weekend away.

We have been staying at The House for six years and we are always happy to arrive and sad to leave. Patty is an amazing innkeeper and offers all of the conveniences you need to stay on the island. As someone who has worked and lived on Kelleys Island I highly recommend giving Patty the chance to invite you into her home.

This past September 15 - 16 weekend of 2012 is at least out 10th stay at House on Huntington. The place is always clean as a whistle. Patty is constantly upgrading big (all the rooms now have nice private baths) & small details (our room had a table & 2 chairs added since last year).
It's near the end of Hunting Lane & it's quite.

It's only a few minutes walk to fun village restaurants like Dockers at Portside Marina & The Village Pump.

Patty provides her guests with bicycles so you can travel the entire island without a car.

There's always plenty of breakfast goodies to suite everyone. Movies, flat screen TVs and Direct TV is available for rainy day entertainment.

This was our first trip to Kelley's Island & our first experience staying at a B & B. What a great getaway!! The house is clean & comfortable with spacious rooms. Great breakfast spread w/ lots of choices. Visitors can lounge on the back patio ( a relaxing place to have your morning coffee or unwind after a long day of sight seeing) & take one of the many bikes available to guests (at no extra charge) for a ride around town. Patty is a welcoming, friendly & more than accomodating host/concierge. From always having apples & chocolate chip cookies available for a snack, to helping decide what to do on a particular day ( she can tell you the best place to see the sunset, who has the best happy hour specials & where to find unique, handmade jewelry & island souvenirs to take home), she does her best to make your visit enjoyable. We can't wait to plan another trip back to see Kelley's & Patty!! :)

This was our first visit to Kelley's Island, and we highly recommend House on Huntington Lane B and B. Apples and chocolate chip cookies at check-in. A buffet breakfast of 2 kids of bagels, juice, coffee, 2 kinds of coffee cake, and fruit. A refrigerator for your doggie box. Bikes for free. A patio to hang out on. And, all sparkling clean. What's not to like?

But, the best feature is Patty's excellent concierge service. She directed us to a western-route bike ride, the beach, the glacial grooves, the best spot for sunset photography, two lovely nature walks, and the restaurants that best fit our taste.

What a lovely little 24-hour vaca . . .
