A group of five women co-workers held our Christmas celebration here on a Monday evening. Loved the decor with hand hewn tables and benches--very cozy. We found the owner and waitress welcoming, helpful and full of recommendations (e.g, favorite salad, favorite flavor of gelato). We enjoyed wine ($7-9 per glass) and ordered the bread plate which quite frankly was the highlight of our meal. The bread assortment was served with olive oil, freshly grated cheese and balsamic vinegar for dipping--fabulously delicious! Two friends ordered the meatball plate (choice of one huge meatball with various sauces) and ciabatta bread ($7). Both loved their choice. I shared a meatball pizza with another lady ($14--seemed a little pricey for the size and ingredients). Good, but not outstanding. The fifth chose a vegetarian sandwich which was very generously sized and came with a small salad. I tasted the sandwich as well and thought it was delicious! Also ordered a half chopped Italian salad ($5) which was very fresh tasting and had a nice balance of cheese, meats and greens. Service was very quick and efficient. Our waitress even split the pizza between the two of us sharing WITHOUT being asked!
