The place was packed when we went and some of the prices were a bit high ($7/gallon of cider), but the donuts were amazing! It's worth the wait in the lines just to have an apple donut. There are some nice, unique items that could make great gifts (there are various dip mixes and craft items for sale). We went on a Sunday and there were pony rides for kids. All and all, a nice place to stop by with the family for a donut.

This pastmid-September weekend was our first visit. We did notice that not all the things available for children were set up; therefore, if planning on going with the focus being family fun and events for children being active, it’s a good idea to call ahead or look on their web page calendar. The donuts were FRESH. There is a rather large variety of pre-packaged food items available for purchase (popcorn, pancakes, muffins, soups, dips, candies, jellies, etc.) The vegetable options were not quite as displayed on the web page. There are two gifts shops. We especially enjoyed their Martha’s Country Gifts shop. This orchard is open every day except major holidays.

This place is gorgeous, huge and fun! I got engaged here last October! The rolling hills with the huge old apple trees with tons of character were a perfect setting for us! We went mid-October. Warm evening with the sun out. Sadly, alot of the trees were very picked over and there wasn't alot of variety in the type of apple tree around the property - at least not that we could find and we walked alllllll over. Definately, bring a car/wagon, etc. if you can because its a large place, epecially for kids and grandparents. The staff wasn't super friendly and the trailers and workers living out behind the general store were very surprising and unappealing so stay on the south side of the little bridge if you can, or in front of the store on the right. I've heard great things about the orchard and their events though, so we will try it again - probably even wedding day photos!

Our family had a great time visiting the craft tables, straw mazes and, of course, sampling everything apples and more. You're gonna want to take a pie or two home. Enjoy!

We visit every month or so for the shop and bakery. My family has gone every fall to pick apples for the last 20 years. We never miss. Great family run local business.
