they had a short run but have closed up shop and left, they messed up our orders, never got our appetizers to the table at all and the manager had to comp our whole meal because of mistakes made by the server.

Nothing to review! The restaurant used to be a Ruby Tuesday and they decided to go into a new direction and made it a Marlin and Ray's Seafood Bar and Grill. Since the time they opened it went downhill from there. At the end of February they basically called all of the workers in one day and told them they were closing the restaurant and they could seek employment at any of the other Ruby Tuesday's around. They should have just stayed a Ruby Tuesdays as they were doing good business!! I have no idea what upper management was thinking or not thinking but now stands an empty building!!

I stopped in this place with my family and the waitress we had was nice but seemed to not know anything about customer service! We were the only people in the entire restaurant and you would think the service would be excellent, but no. Our waitress was sitting at the bar eating her lunch and chatting with the other servers and completely ignored us when we tried to get her attention. The food however was great, but I may not be returning because once the service is bad it's hard to go back to a place!

This place reminds me a lot of Red Lobster. Menu selection is very similar, even down to the rolls they serve you. Mind you, their rolls aren't as good as red lobster. I had a blackened Mahi Mahi dish. It was modestly flavorful, good texture, tasty mango sauce. Rice pilaf was standard fare. Service was good, restaurant appears clean and orderly...nice atmosphere. My dish was priced around $14 dollars. Not a bad price for decent seafood. Certainly not top quality, but a good meal none the less. Give it a try.
