It was my 52nd birthday and my wife said "what would you like to do" I did not hesitate to say a pleasant Sunday Afternoon at Shadowfax Winery will do nicely and they did not let us down.
I had booked the Tapas and Pizza Menu for $42 per person.
And there was a fantastic assortment of food came out over the next few hours. Whilst merrily eating and chatting we also enjoyed the Jazz Music being played live in the background. Also some of our group made the most of the wine tasting made available.
Possibly the only downside to the afternoon was the price of the Shiras, on a previous visit 1 year earlier the Shiraz was well priced around $20-25 a bottle, This time the price of the lovely Shiraz was $32 a bottle, which was a disappointment to a lot of the loyal Red wine drinkers at the table. Overall if you get the opportunity for a pleasant Sunday Afternoon between 12-4 pm , then this is a must do on the Social Calendar.

Really enjoyed the Sunday lunch with live band. Great food and service. Wood fired pizza was absolutely delicious. Have a taste or two of the local drop with your meal. Fantastic spot to sit outside on a sunny day. This winery will surprise you.

We had lunch here on a very hot day, the place was full and very noisy. The aircon could not cope, so it got a little stuffy. The area is quite small and the tables were much too close together for comfort. The main meals seemed a little small, but the pizza was nice and light. The tiramisu dessert was good, but served in a glass jar??? The wine list is small and only has wine from their own winery. The bill came to about $150 for 3 people including a bottle of wine.
