4 plus new baby out for lunch yesterday. Little bit of wine tasting before lunch then we had cold platter for 4 followed by 2 pizzas to share. Delish. The lamb and raisin pizza ( yes , you read that correctly) was absolutely fab. Washed down with a bottle of their house Sauvignon blanc ....perfection. Great location too and the jazz in the background was pleasant.

We visit Shadowfax Winery often and find it great for a Lazy afternoon to catch up with friends.
The menu is yum (just been updated) we had a platter of cold meats and breads to start, then a pizza, calamari, pork belly (skip the pork belly, not the best I have tasted) teamed with a bottle of Chardonnay then the Shadowfax Sparkling Shiraz (love the Sparkling Shiraz). We put it in the middle and shared the lot. The Jazz afternoons in winter are fantastic. Great chill out day.

Kitchen closed at 3.00pm- not even an olive on offer. Two visits and no acknowledgement or service at tasting bar.

We were very impressed with this place. It was in a gorgeous setting - just wish the weather had have been better - would be gorgeous sitting outside on a sunny day. That said, being tucked up inside on a bad day wouldn't be too bad either. The food was great, we had the bread plate which was way too much bread. Probably would have been better for a large group. We had the scallops and the potato pizza as well which those two alone would've been perfect. My boyfriend was disappointed with wine only drinks list - he would've preferred a beer with lunch. One way to sell your wines I guess. We bought a few bottles with us and if we're in the area we'd definitely call past again.

Ambiance quite nice and as it was a beautiful day we sat outside. We had pizza which was ok, more topping would have been good but the crust was thin. They dont seem to have a great system for bookings - they dont have reserved signs, so hard to know where to sit. I had a beautiful glass of Shiraz - Pink Cliffs. I wouldnt be running back to Shadowfax.
