Fresh seafood with different themes to spice things up. Friendly staff serving salads, king prawns, oysters, fish and chips and more! Definitely a must try when visiting Swansea!

“Upmarket”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2013

The service was excellent at this café, very helpful, but my only objection is the price If you have children and are hungry this is boutique fish and chippery prices. A curried scallop pie that had a total of 4 scallops in it at $8.50 ?? The food looked fresh and excellent but this café is more suited to disposable Income.

“Fish and Chip lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 23, 2013

We decided to have lunch in the small town of Swansea, we went into the Oyster Bay Seafood and found the staff very pleasent and helpfull. We ordered Crumbed Flathead, Squid rings, Crumbed Prawns and chips. The food was fantastic, and was not oily at all. The flathead was delicous and moist, the squid rings were huge and cooked great and the chips were great. Would definatley have lunch here again.

“Great food, friendly service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2013

I've eaten here a.number of times and have never been disappointed.
I've had cheaper fish and chips, but you usually get what you pay for and this fish shop is no exception.
I ordered the blue-eye (trevalla) in a beer batter with chips. Two huge portions of very fresh trevalla in the lightest beer batter; there was enough fish for two diners, really. You could easily order one portion and an extra serve of chips and two people still couldn't finish it. Chips were freshly cooked and crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Service was quite quick.
I have seen other diners with fresh Tassie crays (lobsters) and there is a good selection of other dishes on the menu. But if you're after the best fish and chips, look no further.
I paid $19 for the trevalla and chips; provinces vary according to market value. The special was flake and chips for $10.
Swansea itself is a charming little town with spectacular views of Great Oyster Bay and the Freycinet Peninsula, one of the most beautiful vistas in Australia. Well worth a visit.
Highly recommended.

“Wonderful Seafood Mornay Pie”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2013 via mobile

We were shopping around for a feed when we came across this well stocked seafood cafe. It has everything from the classic fish & chips to Laksa, deep fried scallops & prawns, seafood linguine and seafood chowder. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, but the biggest surprise was the Seafood Mornay Pie which was one of the best seafood pies I have ever had, simply tasty and choc-o-block full of smoked salmon and scallops among other seafood treats.
Thank you ladies - we will be back!
