“A Piece of Australia's History”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2013

We nearly missed the bridge but were so glad to go back, stretch the legs and see and read up about this quirky bridge. They say it is spiky to stop the cows falling off - who knows - but it is certainly an engineering marvel. It's worth the 10 minutes it takes to have a look.

“Amazing and interesting historically.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2013

So unusual. Was well worth seeing and walking over and looking around the area. Very easy to find and stop to visit and explore. Never seen anything like it.

“An odd looking bridge.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2013

Not a major tourist attraction, but worth a stop to take a couple of photo's, gives an Insight to the plight of the convicts back in the 1800's. one of those places where you say "I been there" but that's about it.

“Interesting bit of history”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013

It's always fun to experience a little history and although not a huge attraction it is interesting. One has to ask why they made it spiky - there doesn't seem to be any obvious reason.

“An unexpected amusement”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 27, 2013

It's just a bridge, but it's pretty cool! Built by convicts this bridge abruptly pops out of the landscape to baffle tourists with it's odd design. Nearby is a cute little beach and views of Great Oyster Bay.
