We visited when the berries were out of season, so not that exciting. It's a nice cafe and the shop has lots of jams, chocolates and other bits and pieces. It was ok.

We went to Kate's Berry Farm on a recommendation. It's a pretty little cafe/shop.
The chocolates we bought were actually stale, think they had been sat around too long. One only had half the honeycomb inside the rest was air! Definitely not cheap at $3.50 a piece!!!
Expensive all round as a jar of jam is $11+.
Guess its a tourist attraction and admittedly homemade and handmade so will attract a price tag.

Out of season there are no berries to see but still the view is awesome. We came for the Belgian Waffles that lonely planet was raving about but actually the icecream is what is worth coming for plus the berry sauce that comes with it. The do sell a lot of relish and chutneys and jams that all can be tried. Nice good place for a break on the way.

Deliciously filling humble berry pie with homemade ice cream, fresh from the oven scones with berry jam and cream, tasty coffee, and a hands on owner!
Kate came out to meet us and tell us her story from poverty to self made prosperity. A very interesting woman indeed. Brilliant setup and well worth stopping in for a bite anytime of day.
And the view from her cafe is spectacular.
TIP - the Just Desserts Cafe has savoury meals too. Odd I know :-)

The perfect place to stop over for a light lunch followed by delicious desserts while enjoying the view of Oyster Bay. My partner and I shared a salmon chowder pot pie, which was delicious with generous chunks of salmon. We then shared a slice of humbleberry pie - not for sharing, you'll want it all to yourself! Gorgeous berry filling with soft warm pastry and with that genuine berry tartness, offset by cream and vanilla icecream. The icecream cones are also very generous. Biggest scoop we've ever received! Highly recommended stopover.
