I really enjoyed the visit to Sarah Island and the trip through Hell's Gates and up the Franklin /Gordon waterways. The Guides at each location were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Lunch was also excellent.

We chose this cruise based on other reviews and the friendliness of the staff when enquiring at the booking offices, even though we could have got 10% discount from the other guys that own half of Strahan. We were not disappointed as the cruise was excellent, the staff friendly, the guides knowledgable and the lunch superb. We were blessed with a sunny, warm and calm day so this made moving around the boat easy and pleasant, it also meant the captain was able to push out into the ocean beyond hells gates to the lighthouse beyond, apparently this is not possible very often during the year. In the wheelhouse the captain was very informative and friendly to all allowing the kids to sit in the co-pilots seat involve them in the experience. With all that is included this day out is good value and a good way to experience the area.

I thought I would be out of place on this tour as i am backpacker but i had a great time. The staff were all very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The tour around Sarah Island was fantastic. Very professional and detailed. Lunch was excellent. And the captain gave lots of information without being lecturing or boring. Great trip.

Fantastic day out for the while family. Staff very friendly and helpful. Captains commentary most informative. Stopovers at Sarah Island and Heritage Landing were great. Serving of buffet lunch was well organised so not everybody tried to go at once, and there was plenty of food. Free to move about the boat, even into the wheelhouse with the captain, plenty of photo opportunities.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Strahan.

Let me start by saying that we had the worst weather on the day of our cruise booking, which affects the rating. I would not do this cruise again - even on a fine day. The first part of the cruise out into the harbour and ocean inlet was great, the trip on Sara Island interesting if you happen to be close enough to the tour leader to hear what he is talking about, and there is no time to explore by yourself. The lunch was the highlight of the cruise! Lots of great food, with staff ensuring the cleaniless and restocking of food items. That's where it should've ended, because the next 2 hours are more boring than watching paint dry, which was prob because the weather was too horibble to go out on deck. My advice for the seat prices is that the Premium is the best, as the basic seats lookes cramped and some were right near the door at the front and this poor lady siting nearly got blown away every time someone opened the door. Do not pay the extra money for the most expensive seats, as there is no real difference!
