“Great tour”
Reviewed January 21, 2013 via mobile

I thought I would be out of place on this tour as i am backpacker but i had a great time. The staff were all very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The tour around Sarah Island was fantastic. Very professional and detailed. Lunch was excellent. And the captain gave lots of information without being lecturing or boring. Great trip.

“Fantastic for the whole family”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

Fantastic day out for the while family. Staff very friendly and helpful. Captains commentary most informative. Stopovers at Sarah Island and Heritage Landing were great. Serving of buffet lunch was well organised so not everybody tried to go at once, and there was plenty of food. Free to move about the boat, even into the wheelhouse with the captain, plenty of photo opportunities.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Strahan.

“Good day out if you're older and on a fine day”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

Let me start by saying that we had the worst weather on the day of our cruise booking, which affects the rating. I would not do this cruise again - even on a fine day. The first part of the cruise out into the harbour and ocean inlet was great, the trip on Sara Island interesting if you happen to be close enough to the tour leader to hear what he is talking about, and there is no time to explore by yourself. The lunch was the highlight of the cruise! Lots of great food, with staff ensuring the cleaniless and restocking of food items. That's where it should've ended, because the next 2 hours are more boring than watching paint dry, which was prob because the weather was too horibble to go out on deck. My advice for the seat prices is that the Premium is the best, as the basic seats lookes cramped and some were right near the door at the front and this poor lady siting nearly got blown away every time someone opened the door. Do not pay the extra money for the most expensive seats, as there is no real difference!

“Great Experience”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

What a great experience for all of the family. The ladies in the office were lovely and put us in a great area as we had a pram. We were also given a discount, wow. The staff were lovely and the captain's commentary was fantastic the whole time on the boat. Sarah Island was a favourite and we were lucky enough to have a fantastic guide who really got into the spirit of the stories, thanks Janelle.
The boat even had a play area which was great for our children. All the deck areas were very safe for children and our meal was lovely.
Thanks World Heritage Cruises we will definatley be recommending you to our friends.

“The best thing to do in Strahan!”
Reviewed January 17, 2013

Great afternoon/evening cruise with World Heritage Cruises. Very friendly staff and thoroughly informative. Strongly recommended. Only change I would make is not to book premium or gold seats. The standard seat is more than adequate, if you want to move around the vessel. There are plenty of viewing and photographic spots around the boat, so a window seat is not worth the additional cost. Otherwise, worth every dollar spent.
