World heritage Cruises is a friendly family operation professionally run and deeply committed to the waterways and forests of Western Tasmania. The commentary on board was wide ranging and informative and the tour of Sarah Island was enthralling, posing puzzles and drawing vivid pictures of life as a convict. The boardwalk through the rain forest was atmospheric and provided the opportunity to see large Huon pines up close up. Though the day was gloomy the tour was fine as the boat was warm and comfortable.Crew members were particularly good with children.

Fantastic experience. Service from the staff was exceptional. Food was great. The tour was educational from a historical and envronmental viewpoint. The views of the tour guides was balanced and unbiased. The boat Eagle was very clean and modern. The tour of Sarah Island was excellent. I must do when in Tasmania.

From booking to disembarkation I was impressed by the professionalism of this organisation. They have segmented the market into 3 products (aka prices). Commentary on board was excellent and suitable for a broad audience. Sarah Island and Gordon River would be highlights in themselves, but the total package is not to be missed.

This family owned and operated company has generations of experience in guiding visitors around Macquarie Harbour and the pristine Gordon River. The boat Eagle and service quality were immaculate. Our best tour by far in Tassie.

Great way to spend a day cruising along Gordon River on the "Red Boat" which is owned and operated by local family. Went out through Hell's Gates to Great Southern Ocean (?), convict island Sarah Island and Salmon farms. Adult tickets include fantastic buffet lunch with second helpings allowed. Smoked salmon was melt in your mouth and plenty of it. Drinks not included but happy for you to bring your own on board except alcohol. Wine, coffee and beer available for purchase. Interesting, informative and friendly commentary. Nice touch at end of cruise all staff including captain lined up to farewell passengers as we left the boat.
