The only complaint we had is that the service was a little slow and disjointed. We weren't in a hurry, so it didn't bother us too much but waited 25 minutes to even place a drinks order - in the meantime were given two servings of bread (as an appetiser) by two different waiters(?!). Overall waited an hour for entrees but the main then flowed on quickly. To be fair, the restaurant was fully booked (and actually turning people away) early in the evening, and the kitchen busy. Staff were at least happy, though certainly under pressure.
Food was enjoyable, as was the setting - looking out over the water. Portion sizes were good and the desserts enormous! Wine list OK and priced in line with others.
Overall, good value for money - and at least you get restaurant quality food for the price. This was the best place we ate in Strahan. Don't forget to reserve a table - they're sure to be busy.
