Although in the past we have travelled to other parts of Tasmania this was our first trip to Strahan. We booked a Gordon River Cruise and was pleasantly surprised on what it had to offer. We loved the trip to Sarah Island and meandering through the world heritage sights. The captain and crew were very friendly and the cruise was very enjoyable. This is one of the things you must do if you are in Strahan. We also went on the wilderness railway and enjoyed the luxury. It took us back to an era of steam engines and trains. We loved Strahn. It is a laid back town and everyone went about their business as if they had all the time in the world.
One thing we did not find in Strahan was fresh fish. It was supposed to be a fishing village. Krishna and LC
