Enchanting self contained accommodation with fantastic water views. Friendly owners with knowledge of the local area. Great place to relax and enjoy with easy access to everything this lovely seaside village has to offer.

We came across this by accident as Peter is one of the chairlift attendants. My husband and him got chatting while I went up to the Nut. We were only staying one night in Stanley and chose a cabin at the caravan park for $110 so we could self cater.
After a full days drive out to Arthurs River and Smithton we decided to head back to Stanley as it had more to offer there and we were driving back to Strahan the next day. We booked into Stamps top floor for $115 and WOW! It was beautifully appointed and the towels so luxurious. The views from the windows were fabulous, straight over the caravan park to the beaches.
It is self contained although it didn't have hotplates the microwave sufficed. A extra touch was the Byron Bay cookies to have with a cuppa.
Highly recommend this gem if looking for accommodation in Stanley, there are only two units so book early. The top floor would cater for two couples and an extra as it has a king and a queen bed plus a single. The bathroom is separate.
Only complaint would be the stairs are very narrow but this is an old building and thats how they were made.

Room Tip: Top floor offer views to the water, bottom to the Nut.

This is a fantastic place to stay in Stanley, walking distance to everything in this nice small town, the beach, and the chairlift. The views from the spacious upstairs apartment are great and we parked right outside the door on the quiet street. Our 2 boys (6 and 8) couldn't have been happier here. A very relaxing place to go and really good value.

Room Tip: The Customs House apartment is a good choice for families.

We were placed here because our hotel doublebooked us by mistake. Wow! What a lovely surprise - a huge loft style apartment with fantastic views over Stanley, wish we had stayed longer than one night! Thank you very much, we will be back.

We came across this accommodation by accident when we drove to Stanley in December 2013. It was recommended to us by a local and when we viewed the room we could not believe the space of the self contained unit and the price of $110 per night!! The hosts Peter & Lynda were fantastic nothing was too much trouble (and loved meeting their dog!!). Very quiet area and there is an excellent place to have breakfast 2 doors down.

Highly recommend this accommodation. Peter & Kim

Room Tip: We winged our accommodation so we determined what we thought value for money was. Plus you can somet...

Great spot in Stanley. Hostess was very hospitable and provided good advice on what to do and where to eat within the Stanley precinct. Stamps upstairs apartment was very comfortable and gave good views of Stanley. It was very clean and had plenty of inhouse creasture comforts. It can be a little claustrophobic, however even I (at 6'1") found it ok. I can recommend this place as a nice and comfortable stay at the price.

Stayed one night and ended up booking another, the room was much larger and unique than expected, amazing place, the scenery of this little town is amazing and can be witnessed from the back porch, not to mention the friendly dog Barley who can't get enough of the ball
