“Great views and more”
Reviewed April 24, 2014

It was late afternoon and so caught the chairlift up to save time. The view opens up very quickly on the chair and is great and very 360 degrees. The walk around the top is varied with great views of course, it is some of the cleanest air in the world and views to Three Hummocks Island 40kms away proves it. The forest was a surprise and the Pademelons don't seem too bothered by people. The views down to the port and town of Stanley and along the coast were great and the patchy cloud made the colours of Bass Strait amazing from deep blue to slate grey. All the dead weeds around was a shame but shows that it is being worked on.

“Spectacular views”
Reviewed April 20, 2014 via mobile

Your efforts in climbing will be well rewarded with the views at the top. It is only a short walk but the steep incline does make it feel like an eternity has passed before you get to the top. You could cheat and take the chairlift up but I would suggest the chairlift on the return down would provide you with better photo opportunities. The walk down is also very steep and can be a little hard for those with knee problems but for those with an intermediate level of fitness-walk don't chair it!!

“Quite a hike!”
Reviewed April 19, 2014

After a steep climb & a bit of huffing & puffing from this old girl, we got to the top and enjoyed some glorious views. Worth every step. The chairlift was closed but I don't think I would have bothered - my husband may disagree!
