An interesting little place, to pass a couple of hours especially if it is raining. The kidds will enjoy the Seaquarium.

“Fun collection of critters”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 20, 2013

The Seaquarium is a collection of tanks and memorabilia about the sea. There are interesting critters to look at and my wife quite enjoyed it. Some may find it a bit basic but it was not expensive and worth a look.

“Basic”

Only a little aquarium. We had a discount coupon. Would not have paid full price. We went there to kill some time before going on the seal cruise.

“Dont miss this place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2013

On arrival we were absolutely amazed at what we found inside this green shed down on the wharf at Stanley. The staff were so friendly and knowedgable about all the sea creatures including the seahorses and were able to tell my husband where to go! A great place for all the family. To top it off we bought a yummy freshly cooked crayfish!

“A nice experience.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 25, 2013

You want find killer whales great white sharks or huge mantarays but what you will find is a small but intriguing group of tanks with access to some really interesting sea life. The owner (I think her name was Dianne) is quite passionate about her ever changing collection of sea creatures and is at the ready to answer questions and or point out some of the more elusive guests.
In general it was $20 for 2 of us well spent (gave us a discount... I think it was normally $15) particularly as got to see some sea horses ... Something we had missed in the Tamar area.
A nice stop particularly if you are travelling with children.
