The look on our daughter's face when she was holding and touching the hermit crabs was pretty special, but I don't think it was value for money. We thought later that only one parent should have gone in.

Everything else got walked past pretty quickly. I thought it would have been nice if someone spoke to us about the sea creatures, even one creature (we were the only ones there). It would have made it feel more personal.

Have seen many aquariums, it's nice but not big. I didn't know if it's value for money but at least I felt I supported the locals.

We popped in here because the seal cruise was cancelled due to bad sea conditions, and it was better than we expected. The shed has tanks with various ocean critters, there is lots of information to take in as well. It isn't like the fancy aquariums in other states. If you are in stanley its still worth a look, especially if you have kids.
