“Perfect - just like everything else in Stanley!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2014

Have just enjoyed a 2 night stay in a cabin here. The cabin was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable and affordable stay in this pretty seaside town. Fantastic location right on the beach and within walking distance to everything. The park grounds are well maintained and the staff member who checked us in could not have been more friendly or helpful with loads of advice and recommendations about local services and attractions. Would definitely recommend this park to others.

A great spot in a beautiful town - really helpful staff . The amenities are old and dated but kept very clean with shower mats and fresh towel bath mats every time we visited them. A basic extra but makes a real difference - much safer too!

We booked in at Stanley Cabin & Tourist Park at extremely late notice on new years day after our planned accommodation fell through.. Staff were exceptionally helpful and made us feel very welcome. Very friendly and went above and beyond to give us information on local attractions etc.

Cabins were neat and equipped with everything we needed including oven/stove. Beautiful views of The Nut and the gorgeous ocean. We would definitely visit again and recommend to others!

We stayed one night - it was our first day in Tassie after an overnight on the Spirit of Tasmania so it had been a long 24 hours. The drive to Stanley was pleasant from Devonport and we stayed in a Spa Cabin on the waterfront. The water is absolutely pristine - located right at the base of The Nut, right next to the IGA. We got supplies and made our own dinner as the cabin is fully self contained. We did laundry at the communal laundry and had our own washing line which was handy. The staff were very helpful. The spa was great - although we had a power issue/short which we resolved ourselves. Everything was clean, well set out and the bed was very comfortable. The view is one I will never forget and hopefully we will be back one day!

Room Tip: Spend the bit extra and get a spa waterfront cabin!

I had wondered if this were a little off the route to explore further west, but could not have been wrong. It is only a few kilometres back to the Bass Highway, and Stanley is just delightful, The Nut beckoning for the climb to the summit or the chairlifts for the time poor or unfit. The caravan sites are spacious, clean and grassy, the amenities and kitchen just great. Right next to the beach, walking is easy to everywhere. A perfect spot and even more perfect offering discounts for CMCA members.

We stayed for one night but wished we could have stayed longer. The parkis located on the beach front at the foot of the Stanley nut. The reception building is very flash with excellent service from the moment the doors open. We stayed in a spa cabin on the beach front and woke up to the ocean and a stunning view. The park is walking distance to the shops, food and tourist attraction.
Park grounds are very well looked after and the owner was so friendly. We hope to get back another day to enjoy more of the park and stanley.

Room Tip: Spa cabins waterfront have the best view

Stayed here on my own in September.
It was much cheaper than staying at the Hotel on the main street and I had all my own facilities.
Cabins are a bit like from HI DEE HI days but quite doable with everything you need.
But they are FAMILY/BUDGET.
But at the price I was more than happy.
The weather was wild and windy and the unit was warm enough with good heating, small tv and own bathroom facilities.

Room Tip: Realise that they are family type no frills and accept a reasonable price for a warm night. Stanley...
