“One bedroom villa 8 was poor”
Reviewed April 4, 2014

I'm sorry to say this and it was the only accommodation in Tasmania that I was disappointed in. It was a cheap option with the partial view but it also didn't smell good and was decorated with furniture that looked like it may have been discarded by an elderly person, the positive was that the bed was comfy and the staff were great. The 2 bed apartments sound like they are of a much better quality.

We only stayed one night with friends in 2 bedroom villa, wished we could have stayed longer. The unit was very clean, well equipped and colour co-ordinated, the owners were very helpful with places to visit and especially the fishing tips. A little out of town but very quiet and lovely view from the balcony
Would definitely stay again.

This would have to be the best and most affortable accomadation on the east coast.

Up stairs also has kitchen and toilet. Nice comphy bed down stairs with toilet and bathroom.
The hosts were excellent to deal with couldn't ask for more.

we spent one night here..the unit was great..comfy...Iiked that it had a separate toilet from the ensuite....a full sized stove and plenty of cooking gear, however lacked a stove top frypan....we had to use the electric one to cook our fish...the owner was friendly and was working hard on improvements.....

With comfortable bedding and well contained kitchen these 2 story villas are just what is needed when travelling the East Coast of Tasmania.
( Fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, stove, crockery, cooking utensils, cutlery and glasses etc.)
From the living area (with 2 sofas and flat screened TV ) one can step out onto the balcony to take in the delightful water views. There is only a shower in the bathroom but it is spacious enough and all facilities are clean and well stocked. There is an outdoor barbeque area for those inclined. The second bedroom seems to have no direct sunlight so it is a bit dark during the day requiring the use of the interior light. Yes there is an iron and ironing board and the management are very friendly and helpful. Only a few kilometers from St Helens these villas are highly recommended however if one has a disability or trouble with stairs phone or email before hand and check if they are suitable.

Can't understand how anyone could write a negative review. The owner is super friendly but also goes out of his way to be informative and helpful about the local attractions. The place was spotless. Bedroom and bathroom downstairs and kitchen/lounge upstairs with balcony with nice water view. All nicely furnished. Very reasonable at $115 per night. Only stayed 1 night but wished we stayed longer.
Bay of Fires- Binnalong Bay was beautiful.

A clean tidy place to stay, no frills. A view of the water over power lines. Self contained but kitchen items on the sparse side with cracked plates.
No condiments at all, so bring your own supplies.
A nice communal BBQ.
The use of laundry was good.

Hosts are friendly and helpful.
It is 3 klms out of town.
