Geoff's tour and sharing of his Devils knowledge was top notch. After doing the Pieman River Cruise in Corinna, and driving the Western Explorer highway to get to Arthur River, Geoff picked us up at our accommodation and the rest of the evening was one of our favourite things to do during our Tasmania visit. Seeing the Devils in their natural environment is something everyone should do if they have the opportunity. Our only hope is that with people like Geoff educating people, and his obvious love for this cause, that the Tasmanian Devil population will someday grow and we won't lose this amazing animal. Highly recommended.

We sought out this tour looking for an experience that was one-of-a-kind. Geoff’s tour certainly delivered, and was a highlight of our Tassie adventure.

The tour takes place in a hut on Geoff’s property and, even before the devils arrive, offers wild views of the rugged and isolated northwest Tasmanian coast.

Geoff is a warm and sociable host, and we enjoyed the snacks (some from his garden), wine and conversation while waiting for the devils to arrive.

But, the devils are what we came for, and you can experience these rare (and getting rarer) animals on this tour like nowhere else in the world. We saw several of them – some hungry females and a beast of a male. They come out after dark for a dinner of Smithton roadkill, and Geoff’s setup includes a light for viewing and walky-talkies for listening. We were lucky enough to hear a lot of vocalisation and witness quite a bit of sparring.

We look for the natural and one-of-a-kind when we travel, and love to witness wildlife in their native environment; we’ll remember (and recommend) this tour for a long time.

Brilliant tour. Geoff first took us on a short walk to Aboriginal sites before we were taken to a little hut with a large viewing window where we were able to observeTasmanian devils and a wombat close-up in the wild at night as they fed.
There is a portable toilet on site. Lovely snack food, tea and coffee and wine are included in the price
Geoff is a mine of information, very helpful, and for me this tour was the highlight of our trip.

Jeff is a first rate story-teller, guide and advocate for Tasmanian Devils. Don't sign up unless you are prepared for a very personal, no holds barred devil experience- we viewed the devils in their own environment, growling and chomping away on road kill. Fascinating. Jeff is careful not allow the devils to become dependent on visiting his viewing station. There is no guarantee the devils will show up for a feeding...but that's what it's all about: nature left to nature. No cages, no trainer. We saw a beautiful female and a few beat-up males. A highlight of our trip, well worth the trip on a rainy windy night. If we get back to Tasmania, we will do another Tasmanian Devil tour or two.

Geoff King is a top notch guide who shows more than just Devils feeding (which I saw two). Picks you up, teaches you about the land and culture in the area. Also makes some good snacks. Cares about his guest and the Tasmania Devils are awesome at such a natural place.
