Surprising good – do consider these cabins. In an excellent location, right in town but very quiet the cabins are just off Main Street right next door to the Visitors Centre. We stayed for three nights in the ‘Large Cabin’. It was attractively decorated, had excellent heating in both the living area and main bedroom. The original large paintings on the walls make this cabin standout from your average holiday cabin.
The ‘Large Cabin’ would sleep up to six people but was quite suitable for a couple. The living area was spacious with two comfortable settees, TV and a dining setting for four. The kitchen had an upright stove with vent fan, a microwave, fridge and all the equipment you might need. The compact bathroom had good vanity cupboard storage, heat lamps and excellent continuous hot water in the shower. There was a separate toilet. The second bedroom had two sets of bunk beds, ideal for children. The main bedroom had a comfortable double bed with good reading lights, electric blanket and an oil filled heater. The bed linen and towels were function and soft. All the windows had solar backed drapes.
We parked right outside our cabin and used their coin laundry that provided free washing powder and economic quick drying of our clothes. The entrance steps to our cabin had been replaced with a ramp which although a good idea was rather steep. The glass sliding entrance door was off a sheltered porch with two outdoor chairs. Yes we would definitely stay here again.
