We stayed here for a few nights, there is a not a lot of choice in Penguin as it's a small town but this place was fine. The room was spacious with two double beds (one may be queen) and a fold out couch. It wasn't warm enough for us, we found the heater inadequate but the electric blankets on the bed were lovely and warm. At the back of the room was a kitchen area with table and chairs, microwave, fridge, hotplates, no oven.
The rooms look out over the car park which seems a shame as it's so close to the sea. Parking is right outside unit. It's about a one minute walk to a nice cafe and a good bakery and supermarket are a few minutes walk further on (other shops and pubs as well). There was a small TV on wall which was hard to see from the bed. We were helped promptly when we told the manager that two globes had blown in the ceiling.More
