I went to this park with a friend of mine, we didn't expect much because the park is pretty small but it was just great ! A keeper explained everything there is to know about wombats and Tasmanian's Devil, we were able to hold and pet a wombat (best experience ever) and see Tasmanian's Devil eating half a wallaby (pretty gross but awsome) ! If you are in the area stop by !!

Fabulous wildlife park. Best chance to cuddle a wombat and see up close a devil. Staff are lovely and very passionate about their work. Well worth a visit.

“Informative, lovely situation”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 29, 2013

Lots of animals, knowledgable staff, and a beautiful woodland area with kangaroos and wallabies to feed - great for kids! The talks are important as there's very little written info, but staff are happy to explain stuff too. Nice place for a picnic.

“Brilliant afternoon at Trowunna”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

Recently visited this delightful wildlife sanctuary with my two grandsons. The tour was excellent including cuddling Susie the wombat and feeding the wallabies. Watched the devils being fed and saw quolls and the sleeping koala amongst other birds and animals.
