We turned up to do the cave tour, about 45min before it started. So we decided to walk up to the caves. It was a beautiful bush walk, along a lovely stream.
The cave tour itself was great, the cave was beautiful, lots of lovely rock & crystal formations. As was the glow worm colony. The guide was quite knowledgeable & very easy to get along with. Bear in mind that it is quite cold in the caves, so I would definitely take a jacket. You will also need sturdy shoes.
Naturally it is quite dark in the caves & there are also a couple of tight spots. There were also a LOT of stairs, which also at times had water running over them, so maybe not so good for people with limited or poor mobility.
