Thanks Brad for a wonderful afternoon of local produce and wine from the Freycinet Peninsular. Your knowledge of the local area is astounding, your behaviour exemplary. We've done lots of wine tours in various parts of Australia and they could all take a look at the way you operate. Don't change a thing!!

On a grey day in Freycinet Brad's Long Lunch was a fun way to spend the afternoon. It's an elegant concept, professionally executed. We enjoyed the entree of freshly shucked local oysters at the marine farm (in fact we returned the next day for more!) followed by wine tastings and food at Sprinvale and Milton wineries. The food, all local, and chosen by Brad, was excellent - especially the seafood and crayfish terrines and the divine wasabi cheese. Over lunch we were introduced to a new Tassie condiment, Bushdust, with a wonderful tangy bite. The wines were very good also - we bought some to bring back and enjoyed chatting to the friendly host at the beautiful Milton winery.
The only low point was the poor coffee and mediocre chocolates and ice cream at the rather dated Kate's Berry Farm ( there must be good cake somewhere on the Freycinet peninsula?). Still, all in all, a very enjoyable way to spend a day. Highly recommended!

We have done a number of wine tours and this was by far the best. Brad was a great guide and perfect host. Everything was exceptional, from the fresh oysters, cheese, pate and all the local Tasmanian produce we had to accompany the wines. We went to 3 wineries and at each one were given a taste of something to complement the wines. Lunch at the third winery was a lovely spread of Tasmanian bread, cheeses, salami, fruit and chutneys etc.
Our final stop was at a berry farm which situated in a beautiful setting and the ice cream was delicious. Plenty of chocolate to buy or sample instead of the ice cream.
