Hawley House was a great place to stay with quirky features and lovely hosts. We stayed in the main house so we had access to the "bath on the roof" which we used on our last night and found it to be one of the most enjoyable and memorable experiences we've had in our travels. However, the 4 course dinner was not one of the better meals we've ever tried with unpurged prawns and tough steak and the toilet paper in the room was worse than most public toilets we tried throughout Tassie. If you need serious luxury then this is not the place for you but if you don't mind something a little different with nice people and fabulous grounds then this is the go.
