I booked a currawong cottage and it was awesome. Im a city girl and was quite apprehensive about staying in a cabin at first.
But once i got there, i felt at home. It was cozy, warm, amazingly comfortable and very clean. There was no ac but you really don't need it...the cool mountain air cools the room down. The kitchen was well equipped. We even managed to get a little bbq going. (brought produce from hobart) highlight of my stay? Having wildlife right at my balcony...wallabies, currawongs and pandemelons..i will definitely head back there.
Tip: it'll be better to bring your own food and have your meals indoors as food options are pretty scarce. Kitchen is fully equipped so cooking is not a problem. Plus i think it completes the whole experience!More
