Good views of Cradle Mountain and others in the range, hence good for photos. Also peovides starts for many walking trails of varying distance/endurance.

Its a great walk although on one side it may become a bit steep for some but the view is great so just turn around and head back the way you came you will enjoy it just as much on the way back. Get the bus up and have a chat with your fellow passengers & the driver everyone is relaxed and friendly, must be all that fresh air?

Love it ! Was really tired at the end, but it's worth the pain of our muscles. Take a rain coat, camera, good sport or walking shoes, some food and bottle of water and enjoy!
One tip: cafe at the visitor centre was very busy and overpriced, recommend to take some sandwiches with you. A
Small chocolate 85 gr was $3 and bottle water between $3.50-$4.00.
You also can travel till the las sop by your own are, but visitor centre will push you to use the bus provided.

Its a fairly easy 2 hour walk around the Lake, mostly on a board walk. Have your camera ready as the scenery is beautiful

Great exercise and absolutely beautiful surrounds, Dove Lake is a true natural beauty. So pristine and well cared for by the Park rangers. So glad we made the effort.
