On your way from Launceston to Hobart or vice versa this place is about halfway into your trip. Stop in Campbelltown and grab a bite to eat here. The pizzas are superb, the garlic pizza bread is yummy, and so is the rest of the food on offer. Prices are reasonable also. Sit inside or go and sit in the beautiful park opposite.

We were staying the night in Campbell Town at a B&B (Ivy on Glenelg) and we had read prior that Zeps might be a good place for a meal. Ivy owner David also recommended it with a note that he and wife Irene eat there at least once or twice a week. We were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly we enjoyed venison with beetroot puree and sweet potato crisps and prawn and pea risotto. Both dishes were delicious and generous in size. We did leave enough room though for dessert as we had eyed off the great selection of individual sized cakes in the cabinet on the way in. For such a small, inconspicuous place they had a great wine list and the menu was extensive. The take-away pizza section seemed to be doing a roaring trade while we were there too. It was a great meal. The only criticism would have been that, despite the cakes being very moist, some whipped cream on the side would have been a nice touch.

I regularly stop for coffee in Campbell Town and Zeps is always a consistent performer, providing a quality coffee everytime and prompt service to get back on to the road. The toilets are always clean and the meeting facilities are ideal for various sized groups.
Definitely suggest stopping here of your next trip on the Midland Highway.

Called in at Zeps on a wet and windy day to be greeted by a warm and friendly smile from Bianca. Three meals ordered with the same friendly smile. Beautifully presented scrumptious meals. The CAKES were delightful. Despite the restaurant being busy the meals were presented with minimum delay and if you were prepared to wait for a table to be free there were comfortable seats near a cosy fire to pass the time. I must commend the service provided by Bianca which was warm, friendly , courteous and a smile to brighten up a dreary day.

I stop here frequently between Hobart and Launceston, but recently I stopped to have breakfast.
I had scrambled eggs with a nice tomato relish.
The coffee was also very good.
I would highly recommend yo call in here.
