“Very positive - great place for lunch”
Reviewed March 30, 2014

We stopped here on our way to Freycinet, and we weren't disappointed by the lunch. Service was good. Meals were tasty - no way could I be disappointed (I can't understand the two previous negative reviews though). The seating was spacious and had a log cabin feel, with charming antiquities.

“Just because it's made on a coffee machine, it doesn't make it a coffee.”
Reviewed March 26, 2014

Having stopped here a few months earlier and the coffee was good, we tried again. Unfortunately my wife and I did not get the coffees we ordered, and the ones we got tasted awful. We were charged 50c for butter and a quick microwave of our $4 scones, the scones did taste nice... But felt ripped off after the butter charge. Won't be stopping at red bridge again and would advise caution to others.

“Give this one a miss”
Reviewed March 23, 2014

We called in for lunch and regretted doing so. The coffee was good but the food was horrible. We had a wrap and a toastie. They were greasy and appeared to be reheated. Never again!

“Great cafe wit the building steeped in history”
Reviewed March 17, 2014

This place has been a brewery, a army drill hall a masonic hall and when I first went there an antique shop - now it is a lovely cafe/providore with great coffee and lovely produce. A great stop for lunch or morning or afternoon tea on the way from Lonnie to Hobart - in winter they have a HUGE open fire and there is an outdoor area as well. To make them even better I left my purse there on last visit and Dino (owner) posted it to me - what a star!

“Enjoyed the stop”
Reviewed March 15, 2014

It's interesting on a road trip to observe the different styles of cafés where you take a coffee break. This one has its own character with a variety of product streams, great service in a mini (but not overdone) museum style setting. Another stop that delivered a bit more than the coffee, adds to your holiday.
