Such a surprise that the penguin burrows are right on the harbour beside a parking lot. The very friendly volunteers were quite helpful pointing out the baby penguins that were waiting to be fed by the parents. It was amazing to see what the parents had to do to get to them. They came out of the water onto the rocks and then hopped up quite a steep rocky hill to get to them. Of course this happens when it is dark so it is hard to see a lot of the time. Some people had special flashlights with an infrared cover. That would have been handy.
