“A welcome spot for a bite to eat”
Reviewed November 21, 2013

Recently visited Bruny Island and fell in love with the tranquility. On our way to Adventure Bay we passed the berry farm and decided to drop in for lunch.

It was very quiet and the staff out numbered the customers so we were fortunate to sit in peace and enjoy the stunning views. It was not the right time for berry picking but it didn't matter - the scones, pancakes and waffles went down a treat.

“Closed”
Reviewed October 7, 2013 via mobile

We went on a beautiful October Tuesday to Bruny Island and found that the berry farm was closed with no explanation or forewarning. Very dissapointed.

“Delicious scones and tea”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

On easter weekend 2013 we visited the Berry Farm after coming from an awesome 3 hour trip out to see the cliffs and the southern ocean seal colonies. We were really looking forward to afternoon tea and were not disappointed. The scones had just come out of the oven and along with freshly brewed tea in a pot! which was leaves NOT a tea bag, delicious fresh berries and cream, we had a feast! The staff were really happy and friendly, we would definitely go back again to try every other great looking dish on their menu! The view is lovely and it is very family friendly.

“Not what we expected”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

This place has a great scenic location. There were no berries to pick, only a few strawberries for sale. Not enough staff to cope with the number of customers. We waited over an hour for two berry smoothies whilst other people who had arrived after us were served before us. The berry farm is not really accessible except looking over an electrified fence. Not a good idea with children around who would not realise it was turned on. Would not recommend it to anyone. They need to improve and put on more staff to take orders, cook, clear tables and generally keep the place looking good. A sign outside on the roadside would advise people when there are no berries for sale or to pick. Most people do not like to be led astray when travelling.
