The place only had half a dozen customers when we visited, yet it still took almost 10 minutes for us just to be served. Very unimpressed.

Can't really comment about the quality of the meal as we didn't stay to have one. We just had hot drinks and a snack. Granted, the place was full, but there's no need for staff to be so openly hostile to potential diners. Just. Really.Bad.
Emabarrasing actually, because we were visiting with friends from overseas. Gives them a bad impression of Australian hospitality and manners.

Overpriced garbage served up by pretentious hipster chick's. Then when they forgot to put sauce on my roll I took it back and it was a full 5 minutes before it got back to me.

… certainly not for vegetarians. Given the French cook is not there anymore (or doesn't seem to be), other food might have gone downhill as well. We had a potato omelet and it was terrible. We couldn't really taste the potatoes, which is no surprise given they were shredded and still raw. The caramelised onions inside the omelet were the only flavour; even the omelet itself was bland. The sprinkling of lettuce leaves were limp and didn't come with a dressing, and the half of a semi dried tomato looked lost and unappetising.

A friend had a cake which she seemed to like although despite it being called a rhubarb something it didn't have much rhubarb on or in it. Not sure whether this can make up: the slice was huge - a wedge double the size of what is normally served in cafés. Nevertheless, when you order a rhubarb cake you want to be able to enjoy the yummy moisture of rhubarb!

Coffee: Tobias Estate, which I don't happen to like; bitter and not enough flavour.

Service: the girl on the floor was not very switched on and neither was she very animated in terms of interacting with customers. On top of it: we asked her to check whether the caramelised onions were prepared with vinegar - she never got back to us. She wasn't very busy either - apart from chatting to other staff, such as the girl making coffees or the cook.

We won't return!

Came here with mum and my boyfriend for Mothers Day and were very disappointed. Food was cold and took ages to come. Never coming back
