I can't imagine what the previous reviewer was thinking. Cafe Graze is very pleasant with a lovely deck next to the street - perfect to catch the morning sun. Staff very friendly. We enjoyed our tea (loose leaf) and raisin toast.

Upon entry, curly redhead threw a surly look our way, scrappy-looking blonde said hello. Although the sign says table service was offered, it was not forthcoming. Menu was oddly-priced - corn fritters comparable to lamb burger? Corn vs lamb? Lamb seemed better value. The lunch specials were not ready at ten minutes to midday. Chose a seat in the sun on the deck, tossed aside the bolster cushion as it did not perform its job with the Bunnings garden furniture. Our lukewarm coffees arrived a little late, then the food came. The burger was delicious, although tzatziki and caramel used onion relish don't mesh in flavours. The table was quite high, so the cushions came back as there wasn't a yellow pages to sit on. Our lunch and coffee over, we waited for offer of more coffee, or at least to clear the plates... This did not happen, so off we won't. Not a good show, Cafe Graze... Unsure if the owners just want somewhere to hang out during shearing, or if they are dedicated business people. Lift your game.

We were driving through from Tamworth to the coast and stopped in Walcha for a break. We found the town charming and I was drawn to the Cafe Gaze by its quirky presentation to the street and the music wafting onto the footpath. This is a classy place where we received a very warm and friendly greeting. The coffee was a little hot for my taste (generally an indication that much of the clientelle carry Seniors cards) but regardless it tasted very good. We plan to return to Walcha and will definitely return to Cafe Graze.

A real surprise is a small country town. Decor lovely, coffee good and some lovely bric-a-brac on sale. There was even a playroom. Very nice.
