Exceptionally classy Richmond cafe located on southern side of bustling Bridge Road strip. Well sercived by east-west 48 and 75 tram lines and the north-south 78 tram line along Church Street. WIthout a doubt the decor is stunning. Outside seating offers the best people watching opportunities whilst inside seating is very good as well. A very respectable menu awaits the diner. My breakfast options were of good quality and value. Coffee in this suburb is invariably high class. Predictably the service is friendly and attentive. Highly rated and I will return.

Hubby and I were looking for somewhere for Saturday morning breakfast in Richmond and stumbled upon OST. When we first walked in we were a little hesitant thinking it might be quite pricey but all the options were very reasonable. Having said that, we didn't see the other menus so can't comment on those prices.

The decor is fabulous - I'd like it in my house! The lighting is quite subdued with great lights and a polished concrete floor. Comfy couches inside at the front and seating with heaters outside. Different table configurations were available as well to cater for a single person up to a larger group.

As you walk in the gorgeous timber counter has a display of enticing looking cupcakes and muffins which we were too full to try - next time!

As soon as you sit the staff are there with a bottle of water and glasses to see if you'd like a coffee while you check the menu to make your choice. The choices are just a little left of the middle making your average breakfast a little more interesting. There was a one pan breakfast which we saw someone with on the way in which looked so yum but was a bit big for us. We each chose eggs to order with extra sides. The eggs were cooked just right without the poached being too runny. The staff were attentive, checking that we were happy with our meals, without being in our faces all the time. We liked it there so much we stayed for another coffee.

Everything was fantastic right down to the lovely Aesop soap in the bathroom. I would love to try OST for dinner and will be looking at going back soon.
