We have had the pleasure of staying here three times & will certainly be returning. You will find the Park is easy to find as it is on the highway as you enter the City of Moree, if coming from the south. There are plenty of Cabins as well as space for your Van. The Cabins are very clean & can accommodate an array of groups.
After you have settled in you can go & relax in one of the Thermal Pools that are on the property. These Pools are solely for the use of patrons & vary in temperatures. When we were there last they were in the process of building another larger Pool.
There is a small cafe on site that does a small range of very tasty food as well as supplying a small range of goods eg Coffee & Milk & so forth. A short walk along the Road there is a very nice Hotel which has very good meal available.
The Staff at the Gwydir Carapark are very friendly & helpful. When we were there last the was even a wine tasting being held by a local winery. I must admit to buying a fine bottle to enjoy on our travels.
All in all this park is a wonderful place to stop & relax for a night or two or more on a long journey A great place to relax & unwind. The prices vary depending on the amount of guests & the type of accommodation you require. I
If you find yourself traveling along the Newell Highway call in & stay awhile.
