My partner and I stayed here for a weekend, and we were both very surprised by the charm of this motor inn.

We had a very seamless and friendly check in.

The room was very clean and we were amazed that they had provided bathrobes. Which is a nice touch, especially for a 3 star accomodation.

There is a shared garden courtyard, at the back of the room, which was well maintained.

Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for 1 night as we were going to Katoomba the next day (only 15 minutes drive away, and only 6 minutes drive from Govetts Leap - great lookout point). My boyfriend and I stayed in the Deluxe room, and we really enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and cozy, and they provide towels, shampoo/soap, a kettle, free wifi, bar fridge, tv. It was a pretty cold night out and we really appreciated the warm electric blankets and the awesome heater (blows out hot air instead of just the metal oil heater ones!). Bathroom was a bit chilly, but there is hot water, and even bathrobes.

Thank you Jane and Garry for the enjoyable stay, and for being so friendly and pleasant answering my questions about late check-ins/early check-outs over the phone before we got there!

What a gorgeous little place!
My partner and two children stayed in a family room for one night as we attended Ironfest in Lithgow. Delightful stay and perfect for our needs.
The Inn's host Jane welcomed us with such warmth we felt at home straight away. Jane's local knowledge and map was a thoughtful and helpful touch.
The room was gorgeous, lovely classic furnishings in keeping with the cottage feel of Blackheath.
Plenty of parking and only a short distance to many restaurant and cafe options.
The kids loved it also which made things extra relaxing.
Perfect spot for a crisp trip to the picturesque Blue Mountains. Highly recommend.

Coming back through the mountains on Easter Monday we were stuck in a traffic jam that we eventually got fed up with, especially with 2 young children in the back seat so got online to see what accommodation was up (not too far) ahead and came across this establishment that had a vacancy for the night with a family room. So we actually booked it 20 minutes before we arrived! Stayed here for 1 night and continued the much nicer journey a 7am the next morning.
What a pleasant find. It’s a typical motor inn and the rooms are clean and functional, bed comfortable and the proprietors (Garry & Jane) very helpful and nice. It fit the overnight stay perfectly. It’s within walking distance (5 minutes) of the local shops and pub where we have a very pleasant meal and a couple of drinks while the traffic jam continued outside. Back at the motel we watched the TV (about 4 Foxtel channels), used the free internet and had an uninterrupted sleep without hearing the traffic.
Yes we definitely would stay here again if needed for a few days in the area.

Room Tip: Chose a room at the back away from the road

The traffic was horrendous, so we decided to stop and continue in the morning, this offered a family room, perfect with 2 kids and two tired adults... Garry and Jane were incredibly helpful, but we didn't really need much as bed and rest plus recommendation on best pub for us to eat... very comfy beds and linens, its a motel but rooms were spacious and very clean but it was the little touches, free Wi Fi ,fresh milk offered for tea or coffee, there was a toaster, plates and bowls, shampoos and shower caps normally not found, easy to control heating.. location is excellent as we wanted to be able to walk to the pub, have a drink, meal and relax which we did... great base for this area or for a stopover as we did, made us consider a weekend trip may be on the cards back to explore a bit more!
