My husband and I came here for a quiet bite and a drink during a trip with 4 teenagers... it was a nice calm "grown up" outing. Sebastien was charming, the food was lovely, drinks gorgeous and the sunset (I walked across the lawn and found a gap in the fence to take photos) looking down the river to the beach was spectacular.
There was a movie playing in the gallery the night we ate on the patio, but it didn't matter. We enjoyed the raucous bullfrogs (saw one... HUGE), Frida and Diego the affectionate cats and our young host's interesting stories about how he came to own the restaurant and hotel with his mother.
We would definitely recommend this place for food, drinks. We didn't see the rooms, so cannot offer an opinion.
These guys really personify the Yelapa experience. Laid back, lovely, warm, and a surprisingly sophisticated menu.
