“Great Food and Tamarind Margaritas!”
Reviewed May 6, 2013

I had a great lunch with good friends at Cafe Bahia on what turned out to be their last day in business before they closed for the summer. My friends and I shared three different salads and had Tamarind Margaritas, which were outstanding!

“Susan's place is awesome - don't miss it!”
Reviewed April 22, 2013

Cafe Bahia is a such a slice of Yelapa and the people who travel there, you simply don't want to miss it.

Susan puts together a fresh menu daily, an interesting cross-section of Mexican yummies with American fare. If you're in town, Sunday brunch is not to be missed.

If you dare to pin your hopes on anything, hope you'll have the opportunity to sip a watermelon Margarita!

Kiss the pig before you go . . .

“Wonderful orange juice and all kinds of omeletes of the day! Banana conconut muffin is amazing also! The localization is perfect”
Reviewed April 5, 2013 via mobile

Wonderful localization which you can have an amazing view of the sweet cove of Yelapa. The service is really cozy and you can have a good idea how this little village is enchanting! Food is really good quality. I ate some of the omeletes of the day with goat cheese, avocado and tomatoes. Amazingly with some homemade fresh bread. The fruits special with some granola was really good also. I defenitely reccomend this restaurant. They close on Thursday. Open from 9AM to 6PM.

“Delicious!”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

Cafe Bahia is definitely one of the priciest in town, but the food is delicious and the service reliable. I ended up eating a brunch-time meal here every day. I usually don't like fruity margaritas and stick with traditional, but Susan made a watermelon marg with real, fresh melon that was out of this world. The breakfast burrito was wonderful and some others raved about the yogi bowl.

“Fabulous food in Yelapa”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

Cafe Bahia is provides fabulous, fresh food in an amazing and lovely environment. The chef is top notch; the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and caring; the atmosphere is relaxing; scenery can't be beat. Must stop for anyone coming to Yelapa and the food is so good it warrants a day trip from Puerto Vallarta!
