We decided to skip the resort-type vacation because those tend to get boring quickly. Yelapa Oasis seemed perfect, and it was! The couple that runs it are great people, very welcoming and warm. Can't beat the price ($15/night). What would have made the stay more comfortable would be a lamp on the nightstand, but we did fine with headlamps and flashlights. If you are looking for an adventure (in the good sense of the word), I would highly recommend it. If you are looking to stay inside all day....well, then you can do that at home, right?
