Stayed here by recommendation.

Good:
-Very friendly and welcoming staff
-extremely comfortable bed. Slept like a log. Little overkill on the number of pillows!
-Good shower
-Excellent breakfast
-Free wifi (at long last a hotel that "gets it")

Not so good
-Sound proofing is not great ( sheer age of the building is a factor ;-)
-Heating is like an oven. Luckily, with the windows open, you'll sleep well.

Very clean and comfortable superior room. Restaurant food expensive but well presented. Small portion but adequate although expensive. Bar lacked atmosphere but only two other customers.
Would stay again at the cheap rate obtained through late rooms but would not pay listed price.

just had a long weekend with friends to play bridge and enjoy and relax, This hotel is superb from the moment we arrived to a warm welcome from Justine. It felt as if we were at home. Nothing was too much trouble. Whatever we wanted the owners immediately delivered, tea , wine, and everything with a smile. The food was terrific, especially the sticky toffee pudding and the Scallops. Will definitely be returning. There are lovely walks in the area.

Our 4 night stay was superb. Would that we could have stayed longer! Everything was of the highest quality; the accommodation, the food & the atmosphere. The friendliness, helpfulness & attention to detail by Hannah, Zoe, Britney and the entire team was first class. Nothing was too much trouble. Dinner and coffee by the log fire each night rounded off each day perfectly. We shall return!

We just returned from 2 nights stay at The Roundabout Hotel and we enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel is set in a very peaceful rural location. Hannah and her staff went out of their way to accommodate us ( we had a problem with our first room as heating was not working - but we were swiftly moved to the Elm Suite). The hotel was spotlessly clean. Although we did not dine in the hotel at night, breakfast was very good. Cant fault the hotel in any way and we will be returning. Very well done to all.

We had a nights stay at the roundabout this being our second visit the first about 3 years ago. The hotel has been refurbished to our surprise and is to a high standard since our last visit and has retained its character and charm. We use the hotel for its peacefulness, character, and excellent food and the quality of service. Excellent choice of menu for the evening meal and the breakfast. Good access from main routes and good location for the coast and the surrounding south downs. We will be back again for that Get away from it all moment.
