Our first two pub choices were unavailable as we'd left it too late for a dinner booking. When we arrived here at 7.00pm we thought we might be the only guests but it soon filled up and we had a great evening. Despite being June, it was cold and the friendly bartender had no problem lighting the fire for us. The pub itself has a great ambiance and the food was good (duck cassoulet and fish and chips). It is definitely worth the effort to find this little village.
