Stayed 2 nights at this travelodge
Spotlessly clean room with kingsize bed Very nice.
Ideal spot to just nip down to Brighton.
Burger King n Little Chef on site with Garage.
Plenty of parking available with 24 hour very pleasant reception staff
Would recommend a stay to all.

We stayed in Room 202 after I saw another review on here....The room was clean & tidy, comfy bed & hot shower....I am giving Travelodge 5* but Air conditioning or a fan in the room would have been nice........
The staff were really friendly & welcoming......
Thank you...xx

Room Tip: Room 202 is at the back & quiet.......At the front, it can be a tad noisy so other reviewiers on...

Do not stay here in the summer!, no air conditioning and no fans were available. The windows were not even opened prior to arrival making for a dreadful nights sleep. Given that the hotel has recently been refitted these issues should have been addressed as part of the scope.

We have stayed in Travelodges before with no problems. However, I would not recommend this for anyone. They had mixed up our booking and dragged my husband, toddler and luggage all round the hotel to find a room. When we came to put our daughter to bed it was found to be dirty and full of hair. When we complained we were given a clean sheet but had to change it ourselves!

This travelodge had been refurbished and was certainly in better condition than when we last visited. We were in a room close to the front door which meant a lot of noise as people went in and out. Must remember to ask for a room further down corridor next time. We had a family room. The king size bed was very comfortable and had lovely white sheets. The two smaller beds had appalling flannelette sheets on which were old, bobbly and very uncomfortable. Staff readily provided sheets the next day but not a good first night. We needed an ironing board and had to book it as apparently there was only one in the hotel. The ironing board had no cover - I was given a towel - and the iron had seen better days. I know that these are budget hotels but just a little more attention to detail would have made the stay far more successful.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from entrance. Also might want a room on first floor to avoid noise from people...
