Unassuming hotel close to other amenities with comfortable rooms. Located close to A23 for fast and easy access to the area but does not impinge on room noise. Room was clean had a kettle for making coffee, TV on the wall and the bed was very comfortable for a good nights sleep

We had a great nights stay after a marathon charity fundraising walk in Brighton. A short drive to Hickstead gave us a really cheap room, free parking and a really comfortable, newly refurbished room. Had a great nights sleep. Really like the fact that we could book in at 3pm and not have to check out till midday. Have stayed at Travelodges before and this is the best one so far. Tired and scrappy IT IS NOT!!!!!

Room was quite big for a travelodge, was the new modern style. Seem to have improved matresses since we last stayed in a travelodge. We only paid £20 for the room so was just as expected. We stayed ground floor front facing and could still hear noise through the night as due to it being so warm needed windows open as no air con. Would stay here again if in the area.

hotel was average, staff very helpful friendly especially Linda on reception.Downside very noisy at night,Saturday people banging around & music loud & pipes when people showered was so noisy.Again on Sunday the pipes ? were so bad this was at just gone midnight went 3 times to reception to see if anything could be done but despite ringing the "find button" no one came,it was the lady on reception Monday morning that said the noise would be the pipes. Then Monday night full of workmen so noisy again so we had enough packed our bags & did not stay our final night. Also when room was cleaned on the Sunday cleaner left our windows open not impressed because we were on ground floor & did not return to room until about 9 in the evening, our belonging could easily have been stolen.

Staff incredibly helpful and friendly at check in. Explained that the place had recently been refurbished, and commented on how comfortable the beds were (they weren't wrong!) 24 hour access with key, although the door was still open when I returned after 10pm. Free parking and a 10% discount at the Little Chef across the road if you show your key.
Room clean and tidy. One of the better branches of the group.

It is a shocking hotel, the hotel manager is vile, i have never come accross such a rude lady. We booked a family room but got given a double as that is all they had although i had booked this 18 months ago!!!

Stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel appears to have been recently refurbished with all public area painted and rooms with new beds, furniture and bathrooms.

Basic accommodation but very clean, fresh and comfortable.Bed was a bit firm but comfortable. Nice plump pillows.

Bathroom just had a shower which had plenty of hot water and was clean and tidy.

TV in the room only had a few channels with about half not working or stuck.

Staff here friendly and helpful.

Hotel is located at a service station which is a bit tatty with a Burger King, Little Chef and a petrol station. Plenty of free parking outside. Located about 20 miles from Brighton.

Only downside is that it was a hot evening and there is no air conditioning. Our room was just above the reception and with the windows open we had people outside the window talking and smoking until late. As non smokers we had to close the windows as the stink of the smokers came in the room.
