“Jazzy Pub with excellent food.”
Reviewed March 24, 2013

My first time eating at the Eight Bells. I met up with some 'Bajan' friends today for a meal and a drink. I opted for the roast beef, which was delicious.
There is also a jazz band playing in the background. This quirky place is a real country pub with a very warm welcome. Even dog biscuits for our canine friends.:-)

“Excellent day and evening!”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

My husband and I were in the area for the weekend and were very lucky to find the Eight Bells B&B, together with the Eight Bells Pub directly opposite - made for a fantastic weekend! The pub is just lovely, great atmosphere, wonderful staff - all very smiley and helpful! The food was absolutely delicious - starting from the beautiful breakfast we enjoyed there, which comes with staying at the B&B - all freshly done and some lovely personal touches on the table, a home away from home - to the fantastic evening spent celebrating St Patrick's Day! Wonderful 3 course meal, happily adapted for my fussy needs(!) and just a great atmosphere, with a Irish folk band playing some music while we enjoyed supper, then the full on band for the evening - just brilliant! And this was after spending the afternoon in there with the rugby on a big screen and just great local, friendly pub atmosphere - BIG thumbs up - couldn't recommend more - we will be back!!!

“Good Old Local”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

Lovely oldy worldy Pub. Our Daughter Booked a Table for our birthday treat. Staff were very friendly, the food was very good, we had Steak and Ale Pie, it was excellent. They are also a B & B, which is situated over the road, beautiful old building, have yet to try the B & B, but will submit a review when I have.
